Katy Shatzer
I am a local mom who fell in love with creating beautiful pieces of jewelry that preserve the most important moments in our lives. I reside in Chambersburg, PA with my husband, daughter, 3 dogs and 1 cat. I am originally from Biglerville, PA where I grew up and went to high school. I still visit my family weekly, and miss the beautiful orchards every day! I am a big sister to one, an identical twin sister to another and a Ti-Ti to three. Also, I am left-handed and proud!

Education and biography

Education
  • I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Criminal Justice specializing in substance abuse. Not that it matters, but I graduated Magna Cum Laude and was very proud of that! For several years, before I gave birth to my one and only child, I was a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor helping people who struggle with mental health and addiction issues.
Personal experiences
I am a very empathetic and deep feeling person. I have experienced many trials and tribulations in my life that have shaped me into the woman I am today. I have experienced great loss, pregnancy loss, near death experience, medical trauma, and anxiety and depression. I will not hide who I am, nor would I change anything about myself. I am a caring mom, granddaughter, daughter, sister, Ti-Ti, cousin and wife who would do anything for anyone, no matter what.
